Discussing and Establishing the Objectives
We were approached by several corporate organisations from multi-national banks, pharmaceutical companies and government statutory boards (Utilities & Finance) in Singapore, particularly from the Learning & Development Department who expressed their interest in our change management programmes. They wanted to understand how they could improve their change management capabilities in a one or two-day programme for the enrolment of their employees. Our highly experienced and practicing change management experts initiated a consultative discussion to have an in-depth understanding of their change objectives.
After analysing the situation and understanding the current level of their organisational change management maturity, our change management experts then designed a roadmap and proposed Prosci change management training programmes to train individuals at every level of the organisation in the succession of their unique roles during times of change.
The flexible programmes are designed to help in the application of change management methodologies to our client’s current projects so they could realise immediate benefits.
Having identified the unique needs of the relevant organisation, Prosci Europe delivered the following Prosci programmes both in-person and virtually, depending on the organisations’ particular requirements:
Sponsor Briefing: for the senior executives and organisational leaders who were sponsoring change and were responsible for organisational performance.
Taking Charge of Change: for the managers to gain an understanding of the fundamental concepts and organisational benefits of effective change management.
Delivering Project Results: for the project managers to help them integrate change management into active projects.
Leading Your Team Through Change: for those who were managing employees through change, providing them with the practical framework and tools they need to be effective change leaders.
Practitioner Certification Programme: for those who were expected to manage and driving change, the end of which, attendees had grasped the foundation of a Change Management Plan.
We continue to support the organisations with resources such as live webinars, blogs and videos.
For the Practitioner Alumni, amongst them, we run quarterly virtual meetups where we discuss some of the hot topics in change management and offer them an opportunity to connect with like-minded change practitioners in Asia. We follow up with our Practitioner Alumni and checked in with
them consistently. Our Change Management experts continue to provide guidance and recommendation in relation to their project work if needed, and we hold annual review sessions with the Learning & Development departments on the progress of their projects.
At the time of writing, the relationship with the client is having a positive effect in terms of identifying and staying on track with the overall Change Management Objectives set by the organisation, with our help. The rollout of the global training programme is on track, and anticipated to be carried out virtually (as we’re still in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic). Although some might see the virtual delivery as an obstacle, this is certainly not how we or our clients see it: many businesses have realised the benefits of online learning, and Prosci Europe is no different.
The positive feedback we receive demonstrates that virtual delivery of Prosci Europe training programmes is very effective, and also more time-efficient and cost-efficient for all parties, especially with clients of a global nature. With colleagues from Miami to Sydney excited to take the next step on their journey to achieving organisational change management maturity, we are confident that this global insurer will secure tangible successes in the future.
